Becoming a member of the Oregon State Parks Foundation makes it possible for us to support projects
and activities in the parks that:
- Promote Healthy Activities;
- Teach kids about the environment and outdoor resources;
- Make the parks accessible to children from under-served communities;
- Build new facilities, and restore iconic places.
Membership makes a real difference, and it also comes with potential tax benefits and some nice thank you gifts. Every membership level (starting at $45) includes a 12-month day-use parking pass for Oregon State Parks. Most levels also include a one-year subscription to 1859 Magazine. Additional benefits are listed below to help you choose the membership that’s right for you.
Membership Levels for 2017
$45 – Park Ranger
Park Ranger Memberships include a 12-month Day-Use Parking Permit for Oregon State Parks (valued at $30).
$75 — Park Manager
Park Manager Memberships include a 12-month Day-Use Parking Permit for Oregon State Parks (valued at $30) and one-year subscription to 1859 Magazine (valued at $18.59).
$125 – $249 — Park Explorer
Park Explorer Memberships include a 12-month Day-Use Parking Permit for Oregon State Parks plus a print copy of the 2017-2018 Oregon State Parks Guide and one-year subscription to 1859 Magazine.
$250 – $499 — Park Adventurer
Adventurer Memberships include all Park Explorer-level benefits plus special event invitations.
$500 – $999 — Directors Circle
Directors Circle Memberships receive all Park Adventurer-level benefits plus a special invitation to a behind-the-scenes field trip providing unique park experiences not often accessible to the public.
$1,000 – $4,999 — Founders Circle
Founders Circle Members receive all of the benefits listed above plus special invitations to exclusive Founders Circle events.
$5.000 + – Park Benefactor
Park Benefactors are our most generous individual supporters. Park Benefactors receive all of the Benefits of Founder’s Circle members as well as invitations to meet and talk with State Parks leadership, as well as other major supporters of the Foundation.
Oregon State Parks Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on support through memberships and private contributions, which are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. For federal income tax purposes, you may be able to deduct as a charitable contribution the amount of your membership gift minus the fair market value of the benefits you receive. We will send you an acknowledgement letter that will list the fair market value of your benefits. If you decide to decline the membership benefits, then your contribution will be fully tax-deductible. Our Federal Tax ID: 93-1177836.
